GSHL is happy to send players to HES clinics. We will place all players who participate in the Adult Learn to Play Hockey Clinic onto GSHL teams. This is a great way for beginners to learn to play! Beginners
Hockey Educational Systems is again proud to offer our Adult Learn to Play Hockey Clinic for both men and women. Our beginner clinic is focused on developing the basic skills needed to play hockey at the Adult Novice/Beginner level. Participating in our Learn to Play Hockey clinic is an excellent precursor to organized play and is recommended by Greater Seattle Hockey League.
The HES Adult LTPH Clinic is specifically designed for the first time adult hockey player. No previous skating or playing experience is required. Our (5) week (2) times per week clinic will address the basics of…skating, stick-handling, passing and shooting…focusing on developing the proper skating techniques needed to play hockey…Balance, Agility and Speed. You will leave this clinic a better more accomplished skater/player. Our clinics operate in a non-competitive advance at your own pace atmosphere.
This clinic will also help you understand the game of hockey and how it is played. Included: Special skating instruction * USA Hockey Sanctioned * Special instruction for goaltenders. * Affiliated with Greater Seattle Hockey League…www.GSHockey.com
Intermediate
Level 7- 8 (Lower Intermediate Level) Adult Hockey Camp
Hockey Educational Systems continues the Adult Hockey Series with our – Level 7-8 lower/intermediate program: This series is designed and intended to build on the skills of the lower/intermediate adult player having 1 – 3 years Adult league experience. We will address hockey on a level challenging you to improve your skating skills…agility, balance and power…as well as providing proper instruction focused on shooting, passing, puck handling and scoring. Individual skills are the primary focus…we will provide some instruction on positional play. We will also touch on team play concepts. HES camps/clinics operate in a non-competitive advance at your own pace atmosphere. We will provide special instruction for anyone needing it and goaltender instruction is available. This camp will take place on Monday and Wednesdays the program includes (10) sessions @ 1.25hours two times per week over a 5 week period. The HES team looks forward to helping you improve your game.
Advanced
Hockey Educational Systems continues the Adult Hockey Series with our – Level 3-6 and Above Program: This series is intended to build on the skills of the intermediate adult player having 3 – 8 years Adult league experience. We will address hockey on a level challenging you to improve your skating skills…agility, balance and power…as well as providing proper instruction focused on shooting, passing, puck handling and scoring. Individual skills and positional development will be the primary focus, we will also touch on some team play concepts. Our camps operate in a non-competitive advance at your own pace atmosphere. We will provide special instruction for anyone needing it and goaltender instruction is available. The Tuesday and Thursday program includes (10) sessions @ 1.25 hours two times per week over a 5 week period. The HES team looks forward to helping you improve your game.
