Welcome back Cutters!
We begin the 2010/11 winter season fresh off a Division 4B Championship as The Reapers. The Reapers carried a combined Daisy Cutter / BLU-82 roster, see http://tinyurl.com/23wehb2 for more info.
The Reapers beat Absolut 6-3 in the opening round on 8/4/10 to advance. After an easy 7-3 semifinal win over the Sabercats on 8/8/10 we met Crazy Horses in the finals. Reapers won 3-2 in OT on 8/12/10.
Congratulations Louis on 6 playoff goals! Jared followed with 4, Pat and Josh each grabbed a pair, followed by Charlie and Thibault with one each. Outstanding one and all, way to go!
Our work horses, Thibault and Mick, lead the team last season in games played with 12 and 11 a piece.
Mike J. brought in a respectable .875 SV% for the season. He upped his game in the playoffs to .904. Mike also ended up leading the league for Goalie Penalty Minutes. Way to go Mike!
We ended up with 5 players in double digit PIM. That put us just behind Crazy Horses and well behind the Iceholes for team PIM. Way to fly under the radar guys. Keep it up!
Brett was traded late in the season to the Santa Clara Chiefs. His talents will be missed. We think we got some spare equipment and a slightly used stick for him...There was some mention of brewing equipments also...details are sketchy at the moment.
